ETRSS-1 : Purchased or Constructed by Ethiopian Minds?

As a proud Ethiopian, I am happy that my country has achieved a milestone in space science technology with successful launching of its first ever space satellite, ETRSS-1, today December 20, 2019. But, I think there are companies which produce satellites at the disposal of use by giant corporations/companies on sale/rent.

So, can we say December 20 remarks Ethiopia owned a satellite technology? I mean can Ethiopia (thenceforward) produce and/or reproduce more space satellite for sale or additional launches?

The government has to clear on those issues to Ethiopian populace.
